Track expenses and rebill them to clients

Money & expenses · 1 min read

Log costs with receipts, mark the billable ones with a markup, and rebill them to a draft invoice in one click.

Every unbilled expense is money you spent for a client and didn’t recover. Kliently makes capturing and rebilling them quick enough that you’ll actually do it.

1. Log the expense

Add an expense with its amount and currency, a category (software, travel, contractors, and more), the vendor, and the receipt file. Link it to the client and project it belongs to.

2. Make it billable

Switch on “Billable to client,” and optionally add a markup percentage if you mark up pass-through costs. The expense now shows as billable and unbilled in your totals.

3. Rebill in one click

Select the billable expenses for a single client and choose “Bill to client.” Kliently creates a draft invoice with each expense as a line item, markup applied — review and send. Once billed, the expense is marked so you never double-charge.
