Share files with clients without sending Dropbox links

Public cloud links are convenient and a little reckless — they don’t expire, they’re rarely password-protected, and you never know if the client opened them. Here’s how to share work properly in Kliently.

1. Organize in folders

Upload deliverables to the Files area and group them into folders (which can nest). A clean structure now saves you a scramble when the client asks for “that file from last month.”

2. Create a controlled share link

Generate a share link for any file and set the rules: add an optional password, choose how many days until it expires, and decide whether the recipient can download the file or only view it. Send the link — no account required on their end.

3. See when it’s opened

Each link tracks views and downloads, so you know the work landed. If a link has done its job, revoke it or toggle downloads off in a click.

4. Keep your versions

When a file changes, upload a new version. Kliently keeps the history and shows the latest by default — and any active share link keeps pointing at the right file.
