If I cancel a paid plan, do I lose access right away?

No. When you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, the workspace moves to the Free plan rather than locking you out.

Nothing is deleted on cancellation — your data stays put, and you can export it as JSON at any time. You'd simply be working within Free's limits unless you resubscribe.
