How does Kliently decide which hourly rate to apply to a time entry?

Kliently uses a rate hierarchy, picking the most specific rate available, in this order:

1. Project-member rate — what this specific person earns on this specific project.

2. Project rate — the rate set for the whole project, used if there's no member-specific rate.

3. Default rate — your workspace fallback, used when neither of the above is set.

So a senior contractor billed at a premium on one project, and at the standard project rate on another, is handled automatically — you don't pick a rate by hand for every entry.
